We are looking for an experienced and dedicated full time Store Manager for our store location in Cole bay, Sint Maarten. In this role, your duties include managing and overseeing shop operations, ensuring efficient functioning of the shop, managing the sales floor and providing maximum profitability.

To ensure success as a Store Manager, you should exhibit excellent communication, coaching and sales skills.

Store Manager Responsibilities

​

• Responsible for ensuring the Sales staff provide great customer service as well as monitoring and establishing existing/new procedures.

• Dealing with customer queries and complaints.

• Maximizing profitability and setting/meeting sales targets, including motivating staff to do so.

• Implementing and supervising promotional campaigns and materials.

• Train and coach Sales team of newly introduced items and company services.

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service and coaching of Sales team.

• Build productive trust relationships with customers and employees.

• Follow and achieve department’s sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.

• Work at the point-of-sale counter to process transactions.

• Create estimates, invoices and orders for clients/projects.

• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition of products in assigned areas.

Sales Clerk Job Requirements

​

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role with supervisory experience and proven management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal with people and companies, problem solving skills, relay staff duties and instructions.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. French/Spanish preferred.​

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills in dealing with customers, Sales team and connecting departments (Ex: Logistics, Warehouse, Sales, Accounting department)

• Strong problem solving skills.

• The capacity to clearly explain technical problems to customers/Sales team.

• Proficient with retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Education and Experience

​

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent required.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role with proven management skills.

• Fluent in spoken and written English. French/Spanish preferred.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 25 kilos / 55 pounds at a time.

• Must be able to work from Monday to Saturday.

• Must be in possession of own transportation.

• Must have Dutch nationality or valid working permit.
